Its not summer in Chicago until I attend a Cubs game. Thanks to a horrible record there’s plenty of seats at Wrigley this year and we got $60 bleacher tickets for $10. I managed to avoid a sunburn but was ID’d twice—the woman selling beer didn’t believe I was 21 even though I had a bracelet on. At 32 even I don’t pretend I can pass for anything close to 21 these days.

I can’t believe I saw you for such a precious few minutes at the watercolor show in Roscoe Village last May and didn’t talk much with you. I apologize. I guess I was distracted–it certainly wasn’t that I didn’t care. Maybe we should have coffee again sometime soon…I’d like to see more drawings. But, most importantly, tell me how you got Cubs tickets for $10.00.
My cousin found an online code directly from the box office that offered $10 bleacher seats for that whole week. A lot of the weekday games aren’t too full so there’s definitely deals to be had!
