I haven’t posted much about one of my hobbies which I’ve kicked up a notch since I returned to Chicago—biking. I’ve always loved exploring areas around my home by bike and found renting a bike in another country to be the best way to see areas you might not make it to by foot. Earlier this month, after brunch with other women who bike in Chicago, Martha of Bike Fancy took my photo for her blog which you can see below (or here with comments).
None of the clothes I’m wearing in this photo would make it into my pack on a RTW. Everything I’m wearing is too bulky or too impractical for long term travel. It’s amazing what we change when we travel by backpack.
