Finally back to a descent-sized city! We arrived late in the day and walked down to the shores of Lake Awasa where local sweethearts walked hand-in-hand along the shore, sharing snacks and watching the sunset.

Am loving these snippets about your time in Ethiopia – I referred to your blog A LOT while I was planning my own RTW trip and these posts are kind of like DVD extras 😀 And I guess you kind of get to re-live it?
I’m glad you’re enjoying the new posts! I love the idea of them as DVD extras. Looking back over everything after I got back home I realized so much was missing. It can be hard to keep up to date on the road and you’re right, re-living it has been fun. I can’t believe it’s been four years.
