Meet, Plan, Go! is coming up in a few weeks and out host in Chicago, Lisa Lubin, has been doing some press for the event. Although the Chicago event is pretty full make sure you put your name on the waiting list because things may open up as it gets closer to September 14th. You can see Lisa on WGN TV a few weeks ago talking about Meet, Plan, Go! in the video below.
The video previews the Julia Roberts movie Eat, Pray, Love at the beginning of the clip. The trailers I’ve seen worried me that the film would focus a lot on the character’s time in New York before leaving on her adventure. I haven’t seen Eat, Pray, Love yet but from reports it sounds like the trailer was a good representation of the film and, unfortunately, it focused a lot on what pushed her to travel instead of exploring the adventure as much as it could.

Great event tonight! Can’t wait to start planning my trip…By the way, I used to work for JetBlue as a Flight Attendant and Customer Service…If you need help/advice about your ticket, please feel free to contact me! My biggest tip about them: Avoid JFK any time between 5pm – 8pm…It is International take-off time and it adds 45 mins to almost 2 hours onto your flight because of the taxi time! Just a little heads up with that…Boston was always my favorite city to have layovers…I can’t wait to read about all of your experiences! Thank you again for a great informative evening…

Thanks, Shannon. I’m glad I was able to help. I’ve already flown through both Boston and NYC. Boston was fine but the NYC terminal is really nice! I will be connecting through JFK at one point around 6:30/8pm so I will keep my on-time expectations low. At least I’m flying West so I will make up a little time. I’m a little concerned about my Bogota> Orlando > New York> Denver connection but it works on paper. Wish me luck!
And if you have any great tips for Boston I’ve never been. I’ll have around 2 days there.
