Living and working alone without cable TV means that I see very little about Christmas until I head out to my mom’s house to celebrate. Missing out on the crazy commercialization America has become known for is great but I sometimes miss the decorations and fun.
Tonight the CTA made sure I got in the holiday spirit when the Santa Train drove by as I said goodbye to friends (not the trixies in the video).

Did you get to ride it? I enjoyed how they changed all the advertising placards to ones for businesses at the North Pole.
I decided not to ride it, I was transferring from the red line to a bus when this brown line train showed up. Maybe I should have but the weather was horrible and I just wanted to get home.
